June 18th 2023 Father's Day

 A summary of what happened since last entry from June 1st 2023:

  • Since the Hang Seng US Dollar Insurance Plan was not a very attractive plan at all. And it requested non-US citizen declaration. I have cancelled this Plan at the last moment of the cool off period. The contact phone number has also undated to a HK phone # too. Hopefully it is not going to be anything visible to CRA.
  • Wesley have failed his Oral exam for the doctor certification. He will to re-test them in Oct., 2023. In the meantime he is not certified as a doctor yet. He will have to figure out what to do before he could re-test the oral exam. Willow was at the Winding Lane for two week while Wesley was working at Lindsey in the east.
  • Winner Cheung has little problem with her health. Last Thursday June 15th she had a fall and went to Sunnybrook Emergency for checkup and lasted for over 12 hours.
  • Jonathan is behaving fine. He has suggested a afternoon hike at a trail in Richmond Hill and had lunch at Big Boy Burger on Bayview Ave south of Elgen Mills Ave., We also visited the grannies place after lunch.

Black Friday in November.

 Not much a Black Friday shopper. Visited Winnie and Wilson yesterday to install the new hand-held shower head and Grab Bars for Winner's washer room (under the order from Daniel...) Job accompanied.  Bought a cheap Philip Shaver from Canadian Tire 50% off (washable too). This could be the last shaver I purchase in my life. I remember I had a Philip Shaver when start my study in the UK. After all, I am a Philip Shaver person. Wesley and Emily are on vacation in the desert Morocco Africa. Nice photos they have sent us. Should be back coming Sunday and going back to London. Wesley is a Doctor now. Presently, he could practice family medicine under supervision from another doctor. Hopefully, he could get the fully license soon. Jon have been let go by the previous company about a month ago. Not a good time to look for a new job. Trying very hard and watch a lot of TV too.
