2023 Dairy

A 6 month dental checkup with Silvia Chiang. Listened to her Christmas trip to her son in UK. No surprises, however it could be a good time to start a electric tooth brush. Will have to do a shop around for a good brand.  A lunar new year lunch at Jerusalem with the golfers. Julio is travelling to San Diego and arranged to play at Torrey Pine. He could not make it.  Eye examination with doctor Yi. Looked at the building with addition membrane inside the eye ball. Will have to monitor this built-up. Mostly due to old age, nothing much I could prevent.

 J is starting a  global consulting working next week for four weeks. It is suppose to use 40% of his time. He has been doing this in the US after quitting the Accenture job. Hoping that this is a good start for him. It is the starting of the lunar New Year, Year of the Rabbit. 

 Nothing much happened the last weekend. A close gout attach on Saturday after Friday's sea-snail, mushroom soup. Had one relief pill and on the track mill the next two days seem to do the trick. Went for swimming for Monday and today. Will prepare dinner for tomorrow (Wednesday). Read an interesting article just now. Both Cash and Read Estate will de-value in the next ten years. However,  Personal Health and Skillset will not change value. So make sure to maintain good health so we could enjoy the fruit for working hard. Learning new skill is not too late neither. Very true...

 We visited Jerusalem Restaurant (Middle East) Buffet for lunch on Jan 4. It is the first day the restaurant open after the New Year break. Everyone seems to like it but William.  On January 5th, we visited Crown Prince Chinese Restaurant at Victoria Park North York. Dim Sum was fine and the bill is under 100 dollar. Dinner at Sushi Wa near home. 

 Although I have applied for the HK senior card, it does not help to get the reduced fare in HK. Too many people are abusing the discount system so the government decided to setup a new system for 樂悠咭. Basically it is an octopus card dedicated to a particular senior with photo and ID card details. I have applied this 樂悠咭 for Cecilia and me to be mail to Jimmy's address. It is very straight forward just apply it thru the app. Got acknowledgements  as attached.

  with William visiting from Vancouver, we had a wonderful 2023 New Year's party at home. William's visit from Dec 29th to Jan., 6th, And Wesley also came from Dec 29th to Jan 3rd. We prepared a very special New Year Dinner at home.  Cecilia Chinese soup,  Jon ready-made salad,  Stephen Roasted Turkey Wesley special Scallops dishes William Ginger juice and homo milk mix Finally, Cecilia had a walk with Willow at Lake Wilcox in the snow.
