2023 Dairy

 This is a 12 day cruise to Panama Canal. Jon was by himself but Wesley came home and stayed for a weekend. 12 day cruise was a little long.  Old Panama city Atlantic Bridge Panama City entering Gatun Lake Panama City With the help from Raymond (came from Shanghai China) Winnie moved from her hospital bed to Shepherd Village assisted living. The plan is Wilson will eventually move to live with her. However, Wilson will have to sleep in the living room. Will have to wait for Amy to come in January to assist him to move.  X'mas party at Brenda's place will be on Dec 26th. Again we are responsible for the Roasted Turkey.

 Not much a Black Friday shopper. Visited Winnie and Wilson yesterday to install the new hand-held shower head and Grab Bars for Winner's washer room (under the order from Daniel...) Job accompanied.  Bought a cheap Philip Shaver from Canadian Tire 50% off (washable too). This could be the last shaver I purchase in my life. I remember I had a Philip Shaver when start my study in the UK. After all, I am a Philip Shaver person. Wesley and Emily are on vacation in the desert Morocco Africa. Nice photos they have sent us. Should be back coming Sunday and going back to London. Wesley is a Doctor now. Presently, he could practice family medicine under supervision from another doctor. Hopefully, he could get the fully license soon. Jon have been let go by the previous company about a month ago. Not a good time to look for a new job. Trying very hard and watch a lot of TV too.  

Letter send from Desjardins confirming they are taking over the Rogers Pension Plan from Dec 1st 2023. Detail of the letter scanned on the following document.  

 The last test was done on June 15th 2023 with: Glucose fasting 6.9 AIC 6.7 This time the results are: Glucose fasting 7.1 A1C  7.3 Atorvastatin   40 mg was stopped with the covid medication and Metformin Hydrochloride  500mg x 2.  Will try to control on diet and redo the test in 3 months.

Getting a coupon the mail for 50% off mobile oil change from dealership. Will try out the oil change coming Friday. Jon had been let go on his job last Friday. He working approx. 6 months on this job. Will have to lookup a new one all over again. 

 Since Rogers has purchased Desjardins  to fund the Pension payment. Starting December 1, 2023 Desjardins will be paying the pension payment instead of CIBC Mellon. Therefore in February 2024, we will receive two T4A tax slips.  one from CIBC Mellon from Jan., to Nov., 2023 one from Desjardins for December 2023.
